Tonglens Live 通镜声译 — 隐私政策

通镜声译只在你主动点击开启后处理当前标签页音频。原始音频与英文识别文本留在本机；只有在你自行配置并启用真人译声时，中文译文才会直接发送到你选择的语音合成服务。开发者不运营接收、代理或保存这些内容的服务器。

处理的数据与用途

当前标签页音频仅在本机内存中用于 Chrome 本地语音识别和音频回放，不保存、不上传。英文识别文本和中文译文仅在本机用于显示双语字幕，不保存历史记录。

原声音量、译声开关、服务类型、音色和语速保存在 chrome.storage.sync，可随同一 Google 账号的 Chrome 设置同步。你填写的 TTS AppID、Access Token 或 API Key 只保存在当前电脑的 chrome.storage.local，不进入 Chrome 同步。

可选第三方语音服务

启用 Google Cloud Text-to-Speech 时，中文译文会直接发送到 texttospeech.googleapis.com，适用 Google 隐私政策。

启用火山引擎豆包语音时，中文译文会直接发送到 openspeech.bytedance.com，适用该服务自身的条款和隐私政策。原始标签页音频和英文识别文本不会发送给上述 TTS 服务。

开发者不收集的内容

通镜声译没有开发者服务器、账号系统、广告、追踪、分析或遥测。开发者不接收、出售或共享用户音频、浏览记录、字幕、译文、设置或 TTS 凭证。

权限用途

activeTab 和 scripting 只用于在用户主动开启的当前页面显示字幕控制条；tabCapture 用于取得当前标签页音频；offscreen 用于 Manifest V3 下的本地音频和字幕处理；storage 用于保存设置与本机凭证。网络主机权限仅限上述两个可选 TTS 官方端点。

停止与保留

再次点击扩展或点击字幕条“停止”后，扩展会释放当前标签页媒体流、临时字幕和会话资源。扩展不保存音频、字幕或译文历史。

变更与联系

政策更新时，本页会同步更新日期。问题、建议或隐私请求可通过 Tonglens Live 的 Chrome Web Store 支持渠道提交。

Tonglens Live — Privacy Policy

Tonglens Live processes audio from the current tab only after you explicitly start it. Raw audio and English recognition text remain on the device. Only when you configure and enable natural-voice dubbing is Chinese translated text sent directly to your selected text-to-speech provider. The developer operates no server that receives, proxies, or stores this content.

Data handled and purpose

Current-tab audio is held in memory solely for local Chrome speech recognition and audio playback; it is neither stored nor uploaded. English recognition text and Chinese translations are used locally to display bilingual subtitles and are not retained as history.

Original-audio volume, dubbing state, provider choice, voice, and speed are stored in chrome.storage.sync and may sync between Chrome installations signed into the same Google account. TTS AppIDs, access tokens, and API keys are stored only in chrome.storage.local on the current device and are not synced.

Optional third-party speech providers

When Google Cloud Text-to-Speech is enabled, Chinese translated text is sent directly to texttospeech.googleapis.com, subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

When Volcengine Doubao Speech is enabled, Chinese translated text is sent directly to openspeech.bytedance.com, subject to that provider's terms and privacy policy. Raw tab audio and English recognition text are not sent to either TTS provider.

Data not collected by the developer

Tonglens Live has no developer server, account system, advertising, tracking, analytics, or telemetry. The developer does not receive, sell, or share user audio, browsing history, subtitles, translations, settings, or TTS credentials.

Permission use

activeTab and scripting display the subtitle controls only on the page where the user starts the extension; tabCapture captures current-tab audio; offscreen supports local Manifest V3 audio and subtitle processing; and storage stores settings and local credentials. Network host access is restricted to the two optional official TTS endpoints above.

Stopping and retention

Clicking the extension again or selecting “Stop” releases the current tab's media stream, temporary subtitles, and session resources. The extension stores no audio, subtitle, or translation history.
